The Formula 1® season moves on to the first of two visits this season to Spain - with the newly renamed Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix.
A new street circuit in Madrid will take the Spanish GP title in September this year, but the challenging Barcelona track also retains its spot on the schedule as part of a double-header with Monaco.
It's the first time teams get to race 2026 cars at a circuit where they've tested, with most having taken part in the behind closed doors shakedown test in January, and with its long main straight and mix of corners Barcelona will be an intriguing display of the latest form of 2026 F1 racing on a traditional circuit
