Unique items from Schumacher and Senna's careers auctioned
Signed, race-used items from pivotal moments in Michael Schumacher’s Formula 1 career and a unique souvenir from the last time Ayrton Senna ever raced against Alain Prost are among a treasure trove of memorabilia items linked to motorsport legends in BUDDS’ latest auction.

Schumacher's top from his last F1 race
This is the Nomex top Schumacher wore as part of his race kit in his last ever F1 race - the 2012 Brazilian Grand Prix, in which he finished seventh for Mercedes.
It’s personally signed and dated by Schumacher.
Though his Mercedes stint didn’t live up to all that he’d achieved in his original F1 career, it was poignant that after being taken under Mercedes’ wing in his youth he finally got to race one of its F1 cars when it revived its works team after over 50 years - and that he played a part in building the foundations for the era of Mercedes domination that followed.

Senna vs Prost - For the very last time
When did legendary arch-rivals Senna and Prost race against each other for the final time?
It WASN'T the 1993 Australian Grand Prix, Prost's final F1 start, won by Senna.
It was at that December's Elf Masters charity karting event in Paris, organised by ex-F1 driver Philippe Streiff.

Mansell's JORDAN gloves
Remember when Nigel Mansell raced for Jordan? That’s right, he didn’t.
Remember when he tested for Jordan? You might recall he tried its 1996 car while mulling a potential F1 comeback which never came to fruition.
But the world did get to see Mansell’s famous helmet in a Jordan eventually, when he got behind the wheel of one for a demonstration event in the centre of London that was held in the build-up to the 2004 British GP.
These are the gloves Mansell wore for that event, and they’re signed by him too.
Any genuine souvenir of Mansell’s epic career is a special piece of memorabilia to own. But actual used Mansell Jordan kit - that’s extremely rare. Bid for it here.
The helmet from Gasly's epic day
Pierre Gasly and Alpine were having a horrible time for most of the 2024 F1 season.
By the end of October, the team was ninth in the championship - and ninth was also the highest position Gasly had managed to finish in a grand prix all year.
Then came the changeable weather of Brazil, and Gasly and team-mate Esteban Ocon took full advantage to score a sensational double podium.
The enormous points haul from their second and third places transformed Alpine’s season, vaulting it up to a much more respectable sixth in the standings immediately.

Gloves from Schumacher and Ferrari's breakthrough year
In 2000 it finally happened. After the agonies and near-misses of 1997-99, Schumacher led Ferrari back to F1 championship success for the first time in two decades.
These race-worn, signed gloves come from Schumacher’s 2000 season, and have plenty of authentic wear and tear on them from Schumacher’s efforts against Mika Hakkinen and McLaren in that epic and highly significant title fight. Bid for them here.
