Red Bull's second Formula 1 team will be known as Visa Cash App RB from 2024 with an early February launch date.

The team previously known as AlphaTauri will hold an event in Las Vegas on February 8 to officially reveal the team's new colours.

The logo that was issued alongside the official confirmation of the new name suggests the team may return to the blue it ran in the final seasons of when it was known as Toro Rosso.

Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda are continuing with the team into 2024, a year in which Red Bull hopes its second team can build on the progress it made in late 2023.

Having scored just five points in the first 17 races, the team's fortunes were transformed by a series of upgrades that yielded 20 points in the final four races.

That saved the team from finishing last in the constructors' championship as it leapfrogged Alfa Romeo for eighth place and almost pipped Williams for seventh.

The team heads into 2024 with Peter Bayer now firmly in place as CEO with new team principal Laurent Mekies, who joins from Ferrari, replacing long-time Red Bull junior team chief Franz Tost.

At the Las Vegas launch, the colours for the Visa Cash App RB-backed driver in the all-female F1 Academy series, will also be revealed.
