Senior TT red-flagged and postponed
The 2026 Isle of Man Senior TT has been red-flagged on the second of its planned four laps due to a crash at 11th Milestone.
Organisers said the rider involved was "conscious and talking" and had been taken to Noble's Hospital for "further assessment and treatment".
The race will not be restarted on Friday night, with temperatures dropping and limited daylight and closed-road time remaining.
But it is hoped that it can be re-run over four laps at midday on Saturday in another revised schedule, with a three-lap second sportbike race than planned for 3pm tomorrow - although organisers will again be battling against a mixed weather forecast.
Dean Harrison was pulling away in the Senior TT race lead when the stoppage happened, having led Peter Hickman by 12 seconds after the first lap.
Josh Brookes, Ian Hutchinson and Michael Dunlop filled the top five as the field prepared for their mid-race pitstops.
No details of the cause of the red flag have been released so far.
The start had already been pushed back to 6.25pm local time on Friday following two non-racing incidents earlier in the day, which was the first day racing has been possible since Tuesday in the rain-affected week.
Dunlop won the supersport and sportbike races earlier in the day.
