The latest eNASCAR iRacing Esports series season will boast Coca-Cola as its title sponsor and will offer a tripled prize pool of more than $300,000.

The 11th season of the virtual NASCAR championship will be the first of a multi-year partnership with the soft drink giant.

The series will once again feature a mix of established Esports teams fighting alongside real-life NASCAR teams.

Among the series debutants is a team formed by NASCAR Cup series drivers Denny Hamlin, Kyle Larson and William Byron.

Zack Novak won his maiden eNASCAR title in a thrilling final race showdown with Keegan Leahy last year.

“The audience surge and growth our eNASCAR platforms experienced in 2019 was the result of the most talented gamers delivering some of the best weeknight racing,” said senior NASCAR vice president and chief digital officer Tim Clark.

“The momentum heading into this eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing series season will continue with unprecedented collaboration across the industry and help usher in the next generation of race fans.”

The 16-race season will begin on February 11 and will be followed by three playoff rounds, with the season finale scheduled for November 1.

Those playoff races will be shown live on NBCSN in the United States after the series made its debut on the station last year.

“eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series competition and race broadcasts showcase some of the toughest racers and create new entry points for motorsport fans,” said iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations president Tony Gardner.

“With an increased prize pool to more than $300,000, the 2020 season is shaping up to be an epic contest between the best iRacers in the world.”
