IndyCar podcast: Debating the top 10 drivers of 2023

1 min read

The Race IndyCar Podcast’s top 10 drivers of the season and an interview with the new Indy NXT champion make up the latest episode of the show.

Indy Lights champion and Indianapolis 500 regular JR Hildebrand co-hosts as usual alongside The Race’s Jack Benyon as they create a combined top 10 ranking and outline where they disagreed and why.

As well as highlighting some key stats to support their decisions, there’s also a look back at the mid-season rankings to see which drivers moved around.

Don't forget, The Race recently ranked all 23 regular-season drivers.

Also on this week's episode is Indy NXT champion Christian Rasmussen.

Rasmussen, who won five times on his way to the title in IndyCar's main feeder series, joined us ahead of a maiden IndyCar test with Ed Carpenter Racing, which took part earlier this week. He will race in the Indy 500 and one other IndyCar race as part of his championship prize.

The Dane discusses his racing background, how he ended up in America in the first place, how his title-winning season came together and how he views his chances of a larger 2024 IndyCar programme.

Don’t forget, if you have a question for our hosting team, you can email us and/or send voicenotes to be included on the podcast by sending them to podcasts@the-race.com.
