The race start is where anticipation levels peak on any given Formula 1 weekend - and they might be about to get a whole lot more unpredictable in 2026.

So, if you don't want to miss any of the action this year, here's your chance to familiarise yourself with every grand prix start time in 2026.

There's one new addition to the calendar for 2026, as the Spanish Grand Prix moves to the new 'Madring' circuit in Madrid - though previous host Barcelona has retained its place on the schedule.

Like the other eight races in Europe and Great Britain, the Spanish GP on September 13 will have a 3pm local start time.

The movement of the Azerbaijan GP to Saturday September 26, has not resulted in a change of start time compared to 2025. The Baku race will also start at 3pm local time.

The original reveal of F1's 2026 race start times also included confirmation that the Canadian GP will begin at 4pm local time.

This gives the Indianapolis 500, which takes place on the same day, a three-hour-15-minute window from its 12.45pm local time start before the Montreal race takes place.

The US GP at Austin also moves to a 3pm local start time for 2026.
