Cadillac has revealed the one-off Formula 1 livery it will use during the first pre-season test at Barcelona, ahead of its proper 2026 livery reveal on February 8.
Cadillac is showcasing its 2026 livery during the Super Bowl halftime show on February 8, but it will use a special black livery with the Cadillac logo for the private Barcelona test.
The special Barcelona testing livery was unveiled by General Motors President Mark Reuss at GM's new global headquarters in Detroit.
GM says the testing livery was "developed through a cross-continental collaboration" between its GM design office in the US and its Cadillac F1 team, which has operations across the US and the UK.
The showcar with the testing livery will be on display at the Detroit Auto Show until January 25 for fans to see.

"Our new testing livery celebrates Detroit's design heritage and the power of the global Cadillac Formula 1 team, while keeping our design secrets under wraps," Reuss said.
Cadillac is not the only team running a livery during testing that it won't race, as Williams is using a design voted for by its fans during all three pre-season tests.
Red Bull and Racing Bulls will be the first teams to showcase their 2026 liveries during a launch event in Detroit on Thursday night (early hours of Friday, UK time).
