Aston Martin has announced the launch date of its first Adrian Newey-designed, Honda-powered Formula 1 car for the new 2026 regulations.
It said the AMR26 will be revealed on February 9 next year.
That is 10 days after the end of the first collective pre-season test of the new rules era, which takes place at Barcelona from January 26-30 - though that will be a private, behind-closed-doors test.
The Race understands F1 teams will be split in their launches: some will do so before the five days of running at Barcelona and some, like Aston Martin, will do so afterwards.
But Aston Martin is in any case the first team to have announced such plans for its reveal.
Red Bull and its sister outfit Racing Bulls previously said their liveries for the 2026 season would be revealed in an event with Ford Racing, Red Bull Powertrains' new-for-2026 partner, in Detroit on January 15.
The Aston Martin AMR26 is the first car F1 design legend Newey has overseen since joining Aston Martin following his exit from Red Bull during the 2024 season.
Newey was recently announced as Aston Martin's new team principal from 2026, though there has been some confusion about how broad his scope will be in that role.
The team will again field a line-up of two-time world champion Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll next season.
