Aprilia has been reduced to just two riders for the Indonesian Grand Prix weekend at Mandalika, as Ai Ogura has joined Jorge Martin on the MotoGP sidelines.
Ogura injured his right hand in crashing out of the San Marino GP, but took part in most of the subsequent Japanese GP weekend - even picking up a point in the sprint - before withdrawing from the main event.
And with the Mandalika round coming the following weekend after Motegi, Trackhouse has revealed the verdict following medical "assesment and treatment" in Japan was that Ogura "cannot ride his RS-GP25 safely at Mandalika".
Ogura will fly home for further treatment after taking part in a Gulf livery unveil - which Trackhouse will run at Mandalika and later in the season at Sepang.
Trackhouse expects its rookie to return to action at Phillip Island in two weeks' time, and in the meantime will not field a replacement.
Aprilia test rider Lorenzo Savadori would normally be the preferred candidate, but Savadori is surprisingly absent - as he hasn't been picked to stand in for Martin in the factory team either.

Martin broke his collarbone in a Motegi sprint crash with team-mate Marco Bezzecchi, and now faces an unclear return timeline following successful surgery on Tuesday.
"It was a complex procedure due to the fracture presenting three fragments, which were successfully fixed with screws in the middle-distal third of the fracture and a support plate to prevent displacement," MotoGP medical director Dr. Angel Charte revealed.
"Recovery times are still uncertain; we cannot give an exact date for his return, but rehabilitation will begin as soon as possible”.
