Kevin Siggy triumphed in the simracer field that made up heat 3 of The Race All-Star Esports Battle.

Siggy launched an immediate passing bid on polesitter Sebastian Job around the outside of the first corner when the race began, but was rebuffed.

He didn’t stay second for long, though, battling past Job in the early laps and then edging away.

Job ended up third, with Erhan Jajovski slipstreaming past him but unable to catch Siggy.

Risto Kappet was fourth, ahead of Nuno Pinto – who secured the last place in the final with a wheelbanging move on Bono Huis into the first corner.

Jernej Simoncic, winner of last week’s first The Race All-Star Esports Battle, was caught up in a number of incidents and finished down in 11th.

The pro drivers who finished outside the top five in their heats will now participate in a Last Chance Qualifying race to decide the field for the grand final.
