There was a lot of scope for recovery for Ferrari in the 2021 Formula 1 season, given how mediocre it was in 2020 with its serious power shortfall and compromised aerodynamics.
So third place in the constructors’ championship with five podiums and two pole positions formed a respectable season in the second year of Ferrari’s recovery.
But in 2022 much, much more is expected from its car and engine – and it’s been making some bold claims about what’s coming.
