Red Bull is to sit out Thursday's action at Formula 1's first 2026 pre-season test at Barcelona as it awaits the arrival of spare parts.
The team suffered a major setback on Tuesday when new driver Isack Hadjar crashed heavily at the final corner late in the afternoon.
Having just switched to intermediate tyres on the rain-hit second day of running, Hadjar got it wrong at the fast right hander - spinning out across the gravel trap and hitting the tyre barriers heavily on the outside.

The rear impact broke a number of components and has forced Red Bull to hastily produce some replacement parts so it can get back in action.
This forced it to miss running on Wednesday and it will also not be out on the penultimate day.
It is understood those components are due to be flown out later on, so the team can get them fitted and get back in action on Friday - when it is hoped that Max Verstappen will be able to get a first full day of running in. Verstappen first ran on Tuesday morning before handing the car over to Hadjar.

Red Bull is not the only team that will miss Thursday's running but plans to be back on Friday.
Haas will skip the penultimate day too. Its driver Ollie Bearman encountered two mechanical problems on Wednesday, one of which was minor and the other required a bit more work.
Alpine is also saving the last of its permitted three days of running until Friday, as it made the call on Thursday morning to not run because it thinks weather conditions will be slightly better on the final day.
