The first images of Red Bull’s 2026 Formula 1 car have been revealed on the eve of the first pre-season test.
Red Bull held a season launch on January 15 with its sister Racing Bulls team, where it showcased its 2026 livery on a showcar that was an interpretation of the 2026 rules rather than the car it will actually debut in testing.
Now, it’s shown a glimpse of the ‘real’ RB22 via a series of carefully curated renders where much of the detail is obscured by lighting or limited angles, as is typical of launch season secrecy.
The RB22 will make its on-track debut at Barcelona on Monday, the first day of a five-day test in which teams can run on a maximum of three days.
Like Audi, but in contrast to the likes of McLaren and Ferrari, Red Bull is intending to hit the track from the first day.
This will be the first proper test of Red Bull’s first-ever homegrown power unit (with some technical and commercial support from Ford).
