McLaren driver Lando Norris defeated Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and championship-leading team-mate Oscar Piastri in battle for pole position for the 2025 Monaco Grand Prix.
The two Mercedes drivers were effectively non-participants in Q2 despite making it through. Kimi Antonelli was ruled out by a Q1 crash, and team-mate George Russell - by a red flag-causing power loss on his first Q2 push lap.
And the grid has been shaken up by penalties.
Aston Martin's 19th-place qualifier Lance Stroll received two penalties and will share the back row with Ollie Bearman - who qualified 17th but is being sent back 10 places for overtaking under a red flag - while Lewis Hamilton was handed three-place drop for impeding Max Verstappen in Q1.
Hamilton had qualified fourth but will now start seventh with Verstappen, Isack Hadjar and Fernando Alonso all promoted one place in the order.
