Charles Leclerc delivered Ferrari's best time of Bahrain pre-season Formula 1 testing so far, with a push lap in the opening hour of Wednesday's running at the start of the second week.
Using unmarked C3 compound tyres, which are one of two sets that Pirelli has given to each team to check on the quality of supply from an alternative factory, Leclerc recorded a 1m33.739s lap.
While this was better than either he or team-mate Lewis Hamilton managed last week, it is still one tenth of a second adrift of the test-topping time of 1m33.669s that Kimi Antonelli delivered last Friday.
After the first hour of running on Wednesday, Antonelli was second fastest with a 1m34.473s, which put him just ahead of McLaren's Lando Norris - who completed a joint-best 19 laps early on, alongside Arvid Lindblad - on a 1m34.766s.
Red Bull's Isack Hadjar completed some early runs with a large aero rake on the car before committing to a longer run later on.
Pierre Gasly was another driver to give the unmarked C3 tyres a run early on as he continued work for Alpine.

Fernando Alonso was back in action for Aston Martin, with the car seeming to be in a slightly better place than it was during the first test.
With the AMR26 having been around four seconds per laps off the pace last week, Alonso's best lap early on was 1m36.536s - which was almost two seconds faster than he had managed last week.
The biggest dramas for Audi's Nico Hulkenberg were in the pitlane rather than the track, as he suffered two stalls during practice starts.
Those moments have highlighted how tricky the new race starts are and come amid calls from teams and drivers to make changes to the rules to avoid problems flaring up at the Australian Grand Prix season opener in a fortnight.
Lindblad had some minor dramas too, suffering a lock up in his Racing Bulls at Turn 1 early on before encountering a minor power unit issue that briefly left him without drive.

Cadillac's Sergio Perez spent the first hour waiting in the Cadillac garage for the team to get his car ready for action, but did join the track an hour and 20 minutes in.
