Simon and Val's Portimao Thursday MotoGP debrief
After their first day in the MotoGP paddock in Portugal, Val Khorouzhiy and Simon Patterson are in a car with insight to bring you - where have we heard this before? - on their way out of Portimao.
We're putting a MotoGP twist on our much-loved In-Car Insights series from the F1 team which, for those of you joining us in Free Week, is a bonus end-of-day podcast recorded slightly chaotically from the method of transport the guys happen to be using at that race.
As Val and Simon are together for the final two rounds of the season, we sensed an opportunity. This doesn't happen very often for the MotoGP duo – in Val's words "because otherwise I think by race 20 Simon would have strangled me multiple times already".
So, we thought, let's stress-test this dynamic early by putting them on Members' Club bonus audio duty after day one in the Algarve - sorry, Simon, Portimao - paddock.
