Silverstone launches 'mystery seat' tickets for 2026 F1 race
Silverstone has announced the launch of a new 'mystery seat' ticket as a new way for fans to experience the British Grand Prix.
Fans looking to attend the race can purchase a ‘mystery seat’ grandstand ticket for the 2026 race weekend or just Sunday, however, they won’t know where they are sitting until 24 hours beforehand.
Although there are still general admission tickets on sale, most grandstand tickets for Sunday or the three-day weekend are now sold out.
The mystery seat tickets for Sunday-only start from £399 and cost £459 for the three-day (Friday, Saturday Sunday) weekend.
Of the 25 grandstands currently on sale, only two still have tickets available for sale for Sunday-only, ranging in price from £629 to £639.
Additionally, only four grandstands have the three-day weekend option still available for purchase, ranging in price from £609 to £779.
This means that fans willing to take the risk on where they sit could save up to £320.
However, due to the nature of the mystery seat offering, the saving also comes with the risk that people on the same booking may not be seated together.
