F1 to hold 2027 season launch in Milan
Formula 1 will hold a 2027 season launch event in Milan next February, two years on from its F1 75 Live event at the O2 arena.
The F1 75 Live event hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall was a first for F1, bringing together all 10 teams and 20 drivers and showcasing every 2025 livery for one night only.
F1 has been keen to repeat it, and while it wasn’t held amid a busy 2026 pre-season with new regulations and three separate pre-season tests, the launch event will return in 2027 in Milan in an expanded form.
The one-night launch event ‘F1 The Show’ will be held at a yet-to-be-confirmed “iconic city venue” on February 18, with drivers and team principals from all 11 teams and “music, entertainment, and more”.
There’s also a three-day fan festival in the city taking place across February 18-20.
More details of both events will be released at a later date.
Tickets will go on sale later this year and fans can pre-register their interest in the event now. As with F1 75 Live, the event will be broadcast around the world.
Milan hosted multiple Ferrari events on the Wednesday prior to the Italian GP, with Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc’s appearances attracting huge crowds on the streets of the city earlier this week.
