Robert Kubica may have only won one Formula 1 race, but that victory came in an absolutely remarkable grand prix.

Our classic F1 stories podcast Bring Back V10s makes its once-per-season trip into V8 territory this week for the 2008 Canadian Grand Prix.

Mark Hughes and Edd Straw join host Glenn Freeman to look at how Kubica won the race – and the part Lewis Hamilton’s pitlane blunder played in it – and whether BMW then threw away a shot at the world championship. And was Nick Heidfeld too polite as he backed Kubica up in that shock BMW 1-2?

There was plenty going on off the racetrack too, and our panel also discuss Fernando Alonso’s talks with the Honda team, yet another flexi-wing controversy, early speculation about reigning champion Kimi Raikkonen’s F1 future and the looming 2009 rule changes.
