The hunt is on for Formula 1's next season ticket holder
Heineken is offering Formula 1 fans the chance to win the ultimate prize: a 2027 Season Ticket.
The prize gives one fan and a guest the opportunity to attend every race during the 2027 season, with travel, accommodation and grandstand access included as part of a year-long global journey following F1 around the world.
The programme returned after Brandon Burgess, aka Full Time Formula, became the inaugural holder of the pass. Burgess attracted attention across the F1 community after successfully attending every race of the 2025 season for less than £20,000 while holding a full-time job.
Having completed his own season-long adventure, Burgess will now play a central role in selecting the next Season Ticket holder.
Speaking to The Race, Burgess explained who he thought would make the best candidate for the role.
“We’re looking for an extremely passionate F1 fan to take over the reins next year,” he said.
“Someone who is just willing to throw themselves in at the deep end. One of the best things this year is meeting other fans - so someone that’s going to make the most of every opportunity of travelling to every country, meeting new people and making the most of the opportunities you’re given.”
Although he is only halfway through his time as the current Season Ticket holder, Burgess is relishing every opportunity, but ultimately it's about the people.
“Honestly, meeting other fans and spending time making new Formula 1 friends is the best part about it,” he explained.
According to Heineken, the initiative is designed to showcase not only the experience of attending Formula 1 races around the world, but also the connections that can be formed through a shared passion for the sport.
“The Heineken x F1 Season Ticket offers fans the chance to experience the sport in a way few ever will,” said Nabil Nasser, Heineken’s global head.
“But it’s not just about attending every race on the calendar. It’s also an incredible opportunity to forge new friendships with people all around the world.
“Fandom is one of the quickest ways to spark an instant connection between strangers and Brandon’s experience shows how motorsport can create meaningful bonds.”
Fans aged 25 and over can enter through F1 Unlocked by naming their favourite team and driver and selecting who they would take to a future race from a list of options provided by F1 and Heineken.
The first stage of the competition closes at 11pm BST on August 23. Fifty entrants will then be selected at random and invited to submit a 90-second video explaining why they should become the next Heineken x F1 Season Ticket holder. A judging panel will narrow the field to five finalists before a public vote determines the winner.
