Lego F1 to headline Legoland Windsor's summer festival
If you want your holiday plans to include speed, creativity, adventure, and most importantly Lego, then Legoland Windsor Resort has got you covered.
Announced this week, Lego F1 will take centre stage in the Thrill Zone for this year’s Lego Festival. Running from 20 July to 31 August 2026 at the UK themepark, the Legoland event is the perfect place for F1-loving families.
Lego Festival will transform the resort into a celebration of play across five interactive zones: Music, Creative, Chill Out, Play and the brand-new Thrill Zone.
One of the headline attractions is the Brick Stop Challenge, where families race against the clock to complete the fastest Lego F1 pitstop tyre change around a larger-than-life Lego F1 car.
For budding engineers and competitive adults who refuse to let the kids have all the fun, there’s the chance to become a race engineer for the day. You will be able to build and race your own Lego F1 vehicles, and tweak your creations to find that extra bit of speed.
Guests can also experience the 'Pit Lane Hype Show', a live drum and percussion performance using tools and Lego bricks to recreate the energy and atmosphere of a Formula 1 race weekend.
The Thrill Zone also shines a spotlight on the all-female junior feeder series F1 Academy, hoping to encourage more young girls to get involved with motorsport in a meaningful way.
There will also be plenty of opportunities to document the day with photo opportunities with Lego pit crew characters and a winner's podium. Visitors may even spot surprise character appearances throughout the event.

The festival is included with standard admission to Legoland Windsor Resort and is part of a wider Lego Festival programme.
