Andrea Iannone’s drugs ban is the subject of the latest episode of The Race MotoGP Podcast, which is available now.

Toby Moody and Simon Patterson discuss [how Iannone ended up with an 18-month ban,](https://www.the-race.com/motogp/iannone-gets-18-month-ban-for-failing-drugs-test/) and the damage it will have done to his career even once he is cleared to race a motorcycle again.

They also take a look back at the peak of his MotoGP career with Ducati, and how things had spiralled downwards on track even before his failed drugs test late last year.
