Sergio Sette Camara achieved some incredible qualifying heroics for the uncompetitive Dragon Penske team in the 2022 Formula E season.

And you might find them even more impressive after listening to his guest appearance with Andrew van de Burgt and Sam Smith on The Race Formula E Podcast, where Sette Camara reveals just how little was left of the Dragon organisation by the end of the campaign.

That’s why even though he’s only moving up from the team that finished last in the 2022 standings to the one that finished next to last with his switch to NIO 333, it still feels like a massive step forward in resources and potential.

Sette Camara also gives the inside line on driving the new Gen3 car and both what excites him about it and the problems it’s had in testing, and van de Burgt and Smith explain what’s been so impressive about the sometime Red Bull and McLaren Formula 1 reserve’s against-the-odds performances in Formula E so far.
