The latest edition of The Race Formula E Podcast looks ahead to the start of the new season in Saudi Arabia and the series’ first year as an official FIA world championship.

Sam Smith and Andrew van de Burgt are joined by double DTM champion and current Mercedes FE reserve and development driver Gary Paffett.

He gives his evaluation of the competitors this season, including weighing up the title contenders and who might cause some surprises over the duration of the 2021 season.

New Venturi deputy team principal Jerome d’Ambrosio, NIO333’s Oliver Turvey and double E-Prix winner Maximilian Guenther also appear to look ahead to the season and this week’s night races at Diriyah in Riyadh.
