Earlier in the season, Sergio Perez was happier in the Red Bull Formula 1 car than team-mate Max Verstappen and even looking like a threat to the champion’s title defence.

But in recent weeks Perez has slipped firmly back into number two territory, saying the team’s car development hasn’t been favouring him.
