Daniel Ricciardo has made it clear he’s returned to Formula 1 with one ultimate goal – to displace Sergio Perez and become Max Verstappen’s Red Bull team-mate once again.

Ricciardo arrived back in style last weekend at the Hungarian Grand Prix, outqualifying team-mate Yuki Tsunoda and driving a solid recovery race to 13th having got caught up in the Turn 1 chaos caused by Zhou Guanyu’s mistake.

But just how good was his weekend and how did it compare to the man he wants to replace?
