After its comprehensive Styrian Grand Prix defeat, Mercedes [remained committed to its plan](https://www.the-race.com/formula-1/mercedes-wont-upgrade-its-f1-car-for-rest-of-2021-season/) of focusing on 2022 and not bringing any more updates for its 2021 Formula 1 car.
