The Race F1 Podcast takes a detour to the virtual world in a special episode dedicated to Codemasters’ official Formula 1 video game franchise.

Host Edd Straw is joined by Nathan Quinn, Valentin Khorounzhiy and Glenn Freeman for an expanded discussion [on our wishlist](https://www.the-race.com/formula-1/the-f1-game-features-we-want-to-see-in-f1-2021-or-later/) for the soon-to-be-unveiled F1 2021 game and its sequels.

Much of the episode is centred around ideas on how to improve the series’ flagship single-player mode, the driver career, and its new-for-2020 counterpart My Team.

There are also suggestions for enhancing the game’s online leagues and for making the classic cars more than a novelty feature.
