Formula 1 is heading for major rules changes on both the power unit and chassis sides in 2026 - right when the battle at the front is getting closer and performance in general is converging.

So that begs the question: are these technical tweaks that F1 could do without?

That's one of the questions debated by host Edd Straw and former technical director Gary Anderson on the latest episode of The Race F1 Tech Show.

That convergence ties in with Red Bull's recent struggles, which Anderson looks at in more detail - specifically why its car isn't fond of kerbs or bumps.
