# F1 2022 car launch and testing dates

Launch dates have been revealed for Formula 1’s next-generation 2022 cars, with Haas having already unveiled its challenger first on February 4.

Pre-season testing will take place at two tracks, with **Barcelona** hosting the first three days on **February 23-25**, and 2021 pre-season venue **Bahrain** then staging the follow-up on **March 10-12**.

Only the Bahrain portion of the test will be televised, with Barcelona regarded as a form of [private shakedown](https://www.the-race.com/formula-1/first-2022-f1-test-details/).
