# Bring Back V10s: The day Red Bull nearly squandered first title

Red Bull took its first Formula 1 world championship crown with Sebastian Vettel in 2010.

But two races before it was sealed, a double disaster at the Korean Grand Prix left Red Bull looking like it was about to squander its first drivers’ title.

And up to that moment, it was Mark Webber (who crashed out early) who’d appeared to be Red Bull’s best title hope not Vettel (whose engine failed while leading near the finish).

Our Bring Back V10s podcast ventures into V8 territory to relive everything that happened at Yeongam that weekend, which ended with Fernando Alonso seeming set to win his third F1 title in his first year at Ferrari.
