George Russell took pole position by over eight tenths of a second in Azerbaijan Grand Prix Formula 1 qualifying in Baku.

Championship leader Kimi Antonelli smacked the inside wall at Turn 1 in Q1 and broke his suspension - so could take no further part in qualifying, even if he nominally made Q2 by virtue of an earlier laptime.
