The Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix will from 2027 be sponsored by Hard Rock, which has held the naming rights to the NFL’s Miami Dolphins stadium since 2016.

The Miami GP - which previously had Crypto.com as its title sponsor - is contracted to remain on the F1 calendar through to 2041.

This new title sponsor agreement will see Hard Rock branding incorporated into the official event title - making it the Formula 1 Hard Rock Miami Grand Prix - along with track, paddock, fan area, and podium signage.

Hard Rock will continue its deal to produce live entertainment at the track.

The 2026 iteration of the Miami GP included performances by Nelly, Zedd, Marshmello, Kane Brown and others.

“Hard Rock has been part of Miami’s Formula 1 story from the very beginning, and we are incredibly proud to welcome them as the new title partner of the Formula 1 Hard Rock Miami Grand Prix,” said Miami GP president Katharina Nowak.

“This partnership marks a new era for our race, as we look to build upon the success of our first five years and continue to evolve alongside one of the most iconic and culturally significant brands in the world in Hard Rock.”

Hard Rock already sponsors the Beach Club hospitality area that is located on the outside of Turns 11 to 13 of the Miami International Autodrome. This area will be revamped for 2027 - with ticket-holders able to experience live performances, cabanas with views of the track and food and beverage options.

“They \[Hard Rock\] have been alongside us in growing Hard Rock Stadium into a global sports and entertainment destination for more than a decade and in establishing our race as one of the defining moments on the Formula 1 calendar,” added Nowak.

“Together, we will seek to set a new standard of what is possible when the best of racing, entertainment and culture converge in Miami, and we could not be more excited for this new chapter together.”

Hard Rock’s chairman Jim Allen added that the “partnership reflects Hard Rock’s commitment to delivering world-class experiences to international audiences.”

Hard Rock International is a privately-held company owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida, which purchased it for $965 million USD in 2007\. It owns more than 300 restaurants and cafes, and more than 80 hotels and casinos around the world.
